Missouri Science & Technology University
As a UX/UI Designer at Missouri S&T in the Marketing and Communications department, I collaborate with the web team to enhance digital experiences across the university’s platforms. This role allows me to apply my UX skills in redesigning and improving key websites, ensuring accessibility, usability, and engagement. I utilize content management systems, Figma, and other design tools to bring creativity to life while maintaining the university’s brand identity and consistency.
Digital Experience & Accessibility
Currently leading Missouri S&T’s web accessibility initiative to ensure university sites meet institutional and WCAG compliance standards ahead of the April policy deadline. Driving large-scale remediation efforts using tools such as DubBot for site auditing, Adobe Acrobat for PDF remediation, and NVDA for screen reader testing to validate real user accessibility.
The following highlights selected projects I have led, partnered on, and contributed to across the university’s digital platforms.
In collaboration with the web team, we redesigned the dining.mst.edu website to create a more intuitive and user-friendly experience for students, faculty, and visitors. The new design improves navigation, enhances accessibility, and provides clear, up-to-date information on dining locations, menus, meal plans, and services across campus.
Dining Services
Military & Veterans Services Center (MVSC)
Worked on enhancing the user experience to better serve military-affiliated students. Our redesign focused on improving accessibility, and clarity of resources, making it easier for veterans, active-duty members, and their families to find support services, benefits information, and various opportunities.
University Advancement - Giving Site
We focused on creating a more engaging and seamless donation experience. Our redesign improved accessibility, streamlined navigation, and optimized content presentation to better connect donors with giving opportunities, impact stories, and ways to support Missouri S&T’s initiatives, while also maintaing brand consistency.
Led the design of the Missouri S&T Pre-Health website to create a clearer, more accessible experience for students exploring pre-health pathways. Defined the information architecture, streamlined content structure, improved navigation, and ensured WCAG compliance to help users efficiently locate advising resources, program requirements, and pathway guidance.
Pre-Health Professions
Collaborated on the launch of the Jaggi School of Business website, establishing its digital presence as a newly formed school within Missouri S&T. Contributed to defining information architecture, improving navigation clarity, strengthening accessibility, and aligning the experience with institutional brand standards to support prospective students, faculty, and industry partners.
